Often Sex Can Help Brain More Sharp Thinking


In addition to frequent train the brain to think creatively, there is one more activity you can do to improve the ability to think. Sexual activity called Dutch researchers have a role in a person's intelligence, especially for those who are old.


Studies included in the Longitudinal Aging Study Amsterdam (LASA) cooperation by the Ministry of Health and several universities in the Netherlands. Researchers compared the cognitive abilities that an average of 71 years with sexual activity.

"Low cognitive ability could be associated with those who feel their sex life is not important. The ability to remember the lower the evaluation can also be associated with sex life is not fun," the researchers wrote in the American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry and quoted on Wednesday (03/11/2015) .

Memory, speed of thinking, and general intelligence discovered by the researchers is related to a person's sexual life. They are more often active and satisfied to have higher cognitive abilities.

In the younger age another study by researchers from the University of Pavia, Italy, also found a link between sex and the brain. Those who are sexually active have a brain nerve growth rates faster.

Hipopocampus the part of the brain responsible for memory and learning are very susceptible to stress and depression. Researchers reported sexually active will suppress stress hormones so that the brain becomes more protected.
